Pick Wayne's Brain

They Don’t Know

I worry about those Glenn Beck fans who really do believe the inane things he says. They really don’t know.

They Don’t Know
Original words and music “Let It Snow” by Sammy Cahn and Jule Styne
Additional lyrics by Wayne A. Schneider

Oh, the people outside are frightened,
And their ire’s not enlightened.
And since they watch Glenn Beck’s show,
They don’t know! They don’t know! They don’t know!

It doesn’t show signs of stopping,
And I’ve seen some heads a-popping.
Their brains are turned way down low.
They don’t know! They don’t know! They don’t know!

With his final scare of the night,
He should fear going out in the storm.
But his brain is just wrapped so tight,
None of his thoughts are the norm.

It’s tiresome and it’s trying,
But he’s here and still a-crying
As long as fans love him so.
They don’t know! They don’t know! They don’t know!

  1. Perfectly encapsulates the ‘believers’. An excellent parody – thanks Wayne!

  2. I ran that one through my head “as sung by Vaughn Monroe”, before listening to your version.

Hey, you hit the notes just fine. Keep singing, with practice, you’ll get better.

  3. Hey, good one, Wayne. And your singing is fairly good. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Thanks, Everyone. I didn’t listen to the song before recording this, relying completely on my memory of it from having seen the Die Hard movies so many times. Glad I got it right. 🙂

I appreciate the kind words from everyone, and I shall do my best to make the next one even better. 😉

  5. Excellent parody, Wayne. You’re so brave to sing it yourself!

    Keep up the good work!
