I’m In a MoveOn.Org TV Ad For John Hall

This ad is NOT paid for by the corporate front groups and oil billionaires that are trying to buy this election.

This is OUR ad made by hard working Americans who live right here in New York

and we have one simple message: Nan Hayworth is being backed by one of those front groups, and if she’s on their side, she’s sure not on ours.

Vote John Hall!

I’m the one holding the sign that says “Not on our side”. It’s the next-to-last one.

  1. Well I’m impressed. The two to three people who read this might really go off and do something. Unless they have to buy cat food or some something. Thanks for sharing this with us.

  2. Hi Wayner… hi Janer…

I have to admit… I’m really enjoying this world series… so far. This particular version of the Giants has really been fun this year, and there’s a really good core of young talent (that starting 4…) that they should be able to build around for quite some time to come…

Anyways… sooooooooooo… the Wilpons FINALLY got something right – they hired Sandy Alderson. I already feel better bout the Mets’ future.

Now… if they only can bite the bullet and toss Castillo for starters…

Seriously, Alderson has already said what I hoped to here him say first – it all begins w/ the farm system, more or less…

I was in the Bay Area when he helped assemble that late 80’s – early 90’s A’s team… the one w/ R Henderson, Canseco, McGwire, (Dave) Henderson (a very dynamic player until injuries took their toll…), Terry Steinbach, Carny Lansford, Tony Phillips, Dave Stewart & the astonishing D Eckersley on it.

That was one of the great teams of its day. Oakland NEVER has he money to keep its talent together for long, or San Diego either. Alderson will finally get to play this game w/ a real checkbook…

S/B interesting and possibly quite satisfying, 2, 3, 4 years down the road.
